Say you have a level 1 guy who needs to be run through some missions, because you can't be bothered to do it. Or you want to get missions for nothing. Your buddies run the mission, one d/cs right at the end, you join in, get mission. Same with bonus, or getting to a tough skillcap, or any of a number of other situations. Heck, you could swap out your charcters for a more apporopriatre one for the next portion of a quest. Of course, it's PvE anyway, so it doesn't matter a ton, but many would be upset - at least as it currently stands you have to do a few missions to get ascended; this way you just magically appear in them. I don't really care that much, if people want to rob themselves of play experience that's fine, but I bet ANet wouldn't think much of it, and many of the community would be really upset if this were implemented.

I think the SAME person should be allowed to sign back on and be rejoined with the party under the exact conditions he left in. If let's say he dies in the front corridor full of Aaxtes, and the rest of the team is at the smites, he rejoins dead at the Aaxtes.

Same idea with PvP.

When they drop, immediatly put in a henchman with the same primary class. If the person wants to rejoin, dump the henchman automatically and add the person back in.

Only allow this once per person per mission. (Same timings as a res signet.)


I'm sorry, but it would be retarded to let someone rejoin with full health and energy if they had 60DP or something.......
